Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect from my first visit?

On your first visit, the physiotherapist will compile a full history of your condition and carefully assess the problem. On the same visit, treatment will commence. The number of visits required will depend on the severity of the condition.

The aim of each visit is to improve the problem. Your physiotherapist may include different treatment modalities such as joint mobilisation, electrotherapy, massage and may even prescribe an exercise regime for you.

Will I feel sore after my treatment?

It is normal to experience some soreness after your treatment, however it is very important that you give feedback to your physiotherapist about this, so that your treatment can be modified.
